The Change Collective is a company that partners with organisations to deliver impactful change, leveraging the power of their collective. TCC guide clients through the complexities of their change journey to achieve sustainable and impactful results. Clients engage with them for their integrity, practicality and proven excellence in delivery. The ask and business need is to redesign the current TCC Impact website, which looks outdated. There’s an opportunity to expand on the current content and redefine the brand, making TCC’s value proposition clearer while improving the overall user experience.
A streamlined approach considering budget and delivery.
1. Design Audit (10%)
Evaluate the existing website and overall brand to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the design quality, user experience, usability, and alignment with your brand and business objectives. This audit helps streamline the redesign by giving us a clear baseline of the current product.
2. Research & Inspiration (10%)
Research business areas of expertise with industry benchmarking. Extending the research to look for inspirational references and materials around the business area and others to support the discovery stage as well as gather additional insights aligned with your brand and goals.
3. Discovery, Design Exploration & Definition (40%)
The discovery phase ensures informed and validated decisions by asking key questions: Is it right for the user, the brand, the service, and the business? Does it align with the desired tone and feel? Is it feasible? Generating design concepts to define the art direction and user experience, unlocking new opportunities and adding business value. Exploring the overall aesthetic, including typography, colours, imagery, and layout, to establish a visual identity for the product. It's a continuous holistic and conceptual process to define the strategy before crafting the final product.
4. Delivery – Page Designs (40%)
Based on the approved design direction, the website pages and visual assets can be designed and polished, considering both desktop and mobile versions to ensure a smooth and fast implementation on WordPress build.
The new design and light branding met the client's expectations, with the website quickly built and deployed. Due to budget constraints, this was a short project, requiring a more targeted approach to achieve the desired goal. The focus was on refining the design ideas just enough at this stage, leaving room for further iterations and brand development in the future.
A brand-new website launched with a fresh design approach.
A new logo design that embodies the company's core values.
The Change Collective should be seen as a trustworthy partner. The design will reflect the strength of their collaborative network, combined with experience and expertise while remaining human and approachable. Carefully chosen elements such as typeface, colours and imagery shape TCC's brand identity. A minimalistic website layout with concise content further reinforces this image. The tone of voice for copywriting also plays an important role on defining TCC’s personality.

The logo mark, inspired by an abstract representation of two letter C's (Change Collective), embodies TCC's core values and mission through its geometric design representing collaboration and interconnectedness (key principles in collective action). It symbolises the coming together of individuals to create change. It also implies a gradual and continuous cyclical progression, illustrating the concept of growth in the process of change and transformation. The logo effectively communicates a commitment to collaborative, dynamic, and impactful transformation. Its simple yet meaningful design serves as a visual representation of TCC’s role in showing how small changes can lead to larger impacts.
