A personal art project born from a collection of fragmented elements gathered over time. While the origin of the word "Forst" is unknown, its roots can be traced back to the old Germanic language spoken between 1050—1350, and it translates to forest or woodland.

Background
The idea for the project came from my hobbyist illustrations and music fragments I had recorded. These illustrations already carried a conceptual essence, and the recorded music seamlessly aligned with that vision. Motivated by the harmony between the two, I made the creative choice to merge them, giving rise to an ongoing personal project led by one of my pastimes: playing the guitar.

Approach
Generate ideas and seek inspiration to define a name for the envisioned universe crafted through the blending of music and illustration. Create and craft the logo for this artistic outfit, outlining the design direction for its visual identity.

Outcome
From a personal point of view, the project has proven to be a success, acting as a source of inspiration and motivation for an artistic hobby. While the musical style may not suit everyone's taste and the conceptual theme may carry a certain darkness for some, it is essential to note that experimental projects are great and transcend these sorts of connotations. Despite its non-profit nature, I made a few sales through Bandcamp.

⸺ An amorphous entity exists within Forst's universe. Passive and devoid of expression. This creature has no name, though based on folklore surrounding giants, some call him þurs (Turs). Many regard him as a troll and a wicked being—Turs do not belong to the world of humans. He is unable to communicate in any language known to men, but he appears to understand and communicate with wildlife. Wandering through the vast forests and beyond, he longs to be forgotten, to live in distant solitude. His natural habitats are the woodlands and the mountains. To most, he may seem lonely and sorrowful, but the truth is that we cannot fathom his feelings and emotions as we have long lost our true connection with nature.
Time in Forst's world is neither precise nor consistent, and it often echoes a forgotten past. Perhaps it is a parallel dimension overlapping the present world. It dwells in an unknown realm of nature, unreachable by men. As a prime element of this world, Turs leads the fragments of stories which are merely remnants of a silent spirit. Your mind and imagination shall fill the obsidian void in between them ●
